SPOT hosts four different sessions for all of our Junior Clinics on the Clay Courts: Spring (6 weeks on Saturdays), Summer (10 weeks on Saturdays), Summer (8 weeks on Tuesdays & Thursdays), and Fall (8 weeks on Saturdays). We try to group some time slots together to offer more convenience to our families. SPOT also host Junior Match play for 9- 11, 12- 13, and HS players. See our Junior Play Page.
After rave reviews in 2016, SPOT is bringing back our SUPERSIZED Junior Pass. This pass will give your junior player access to drop in to any appropriate clinic in the SPRING, SUMMER and FALL Sessions and to come and use the courts for practice and match play throughout the season. This is an incredible value for those juniors who plan to enroll in Spring, Summer and Fall JPDs or Beast; or those who plan to enroll in weekday AND weekend enrollments during the summer season. $499
Quickstart Little Tennis: For Ages 4 -7. Quickstart refers to the USTA approved format of play for younger kids, where play is on smaller courts with lower nets; slower moving, larger colored balls; appropriate sized rackets; and easy scoring. Intro to ball tracking, tennis themed movement skills, volleys, forehand and backhand.
Junior Player Development I: For ages 7 – 9. Within QS format, Players learn groundstrokes, volleys & the serve in this fun, action packed, games-based approach to teaching kids tennis.
Junior Player Development II: For ages 9-11 and younger players who have shown consistency in the skills introduced in JPD I. Parts of this class is in QS format and parts are on full court with yellow balls. Players learn and practice volleys, forehands, backhands, serve, return of serve, and intro to different spins.
Junior Player Development III: For ages 12+ who are beginners in this age group and the content will be much like JPD II but with older kids.
Beast For teens and those 11-12s who have shown consistency in the skills of JPD II. Content includes volleys, overheads, groundstrokes, serve and return of serve, uses of Spin and ranges of Power explored; intro to specialty shots – Lob and Drop shot. (note there is an adult class simultaneous to the Beast class for those parents who are interested.

CAMP PRE-REGISTRATION is REQUIRED!
Fun tennis camp games and drills will be enjoyed based on the age and level of play of campers.

CAMPERS SHOULD BRING a WATER BOTTLE & a SNACK, a bag LUNCH and WEAR SUNSCREEN +/ a HAT
Bottled water is available for purchase. A Refrigerator is available to keep items cold.
*Rain Dates: SPOT will offer make up day opportunities for all Camp rain dates, during the week of Aug 14.

Rocky Hill Tennis Camp is from 9 am - noon M-F (rain or shine)
There is an option for Breakfast Program that starts as early as 7:45 am for an extra $75 for those campers who need an earlier start time. There are also afternoon camps on site at Rocky Hill for extended day options.

HOW TO ENROLL ONLINE
Go to RESERVATIONS. Create a MindBodyOnline Profile for all your enrollments with SPOT. Once created you can easily register for other programs, rent courts, sign up for lessons and more, conveniently through your PC, Tablet or Smartphone. Once your profile is created, choose the ENROLLMENT Tab. You can filter listing by selecting JUNIOR. Select the Session for which you want to register. If you think you will miss a lot of dates in a Season, you may opt to attend as a Drop In instead (drop in is $20/class or you can purchase an 8 pack for $148). Go to the CLASS Tab for this option, to register by Drop In.
HOW TO ENROLL BY MAIL
Click here for a Registration Form for the 2018 Junior Programs. Print, Fill out, Sign and Return with a check payable to SPOT at the mailing address listed at the bottom of the form.
Please call and listen to the voice message 401-749-1072 if you think class may be cancelled or delayed due to rain. Players will be given an opportunity to make up all cancelled classes on make up dates. Summer Weekday Classes will be made up on Fridays following the cancellation at the same time as original schedule. Weekend Classes will be made up on the Sunday following the rain date with start times as follow. Quickstart Make Up on Sunday at 9:15 - 10:15 am; JPD I, II & III Make Up on Sunday 12 - 1:30. Teen/Beast Make Up on Sunday 1:30 - 3pm.
